Neck Rest
Our cork-lined “gallows” style neck rest provides the perfect place to safely rest and support your mandolin necks. The pinned latch provides ample support for your mandolin headstock.
The String Habitat is a humidity-controlled display cabinet designed to house smaller stringed instruments like fiddles, violins, mandolins, mandolas, and ukuleles. Instruments suspend safely in our “Gallows” neck rest, which is a hand-carved, unique solid wood locking system. Each guitar rests against a natural cork-lined compartment, the Gallow-style locking mechanism allows you to safely access your instruments individually.
Completely handcrafted and designed to function. Elegantly display up to six small stringed instruments within this cabinet. The addition of a tempered glass top allows for more natural light to come through and illuminate your collection. Also included, one-touch dimmable LED lighting.
We hand-select only the highest grade locally & sustainably sourced hardwood from Pennsylvania. Solid wood construction, available in cherry, oak, walnut, and maple. Other woods or finishes will be considered custom. Please reach out to us directly for all customizations.
The solid door frames are outfitted with tempered glass, when closed, they seal the environment within the cabinet to maintain the perfect climate for hollow body builds. The digital humidification system makes it easy to maintain the humidity levels within the cabinet, a discrete LED display continuously monitors the relative humidity within the cabinet and will alert you when to add water to the unit.
Preserve the integrity of your precious instruments in an artfully handcrafted and tasteful instrument display for guitarists and collectors of exceptional taste.
