Sound Habitat: Customizable Guitar Gear & Media Storage Cabinet
The Sound Habitat is the newest product in our collection that offers modular versatility. This customizable credenza can be purchased as a freestanding cabinet for storing your amplifiers, guitar accessories, or other music equipment and media. It can complement a Guitar Habitat display from across the room or be stacked below it to form our flagship Guitar Estate. As with furniture in the collection, they are available in our three new standard sizes and can be customized to meet the needs of your evolving gear collection. Each Sound Habitat also comes standard with solid wood pocket doors, which easily tuck into the cabinet allowing full access to your gear, or close to create a clutter-free and clean look in any room it inhabits.

Adjustable Shelves: Media Storage, Records, Gear & More
The Sound Habitat comes standard with a beautiful solid wood adjustable shelf, perfect for housing guitar cables, setup tools, and other accessories that are common eyesores in music rooms. The adjustable shelf also makes it easy to store audio equipment, vinyl records, books, or other media in your collection.
Guitar Amplifier Storage
Our sliding amp tray has been redesigned to accommodate a wide variety of guitar amplifiers on its hardwood tray with soft-close hinges. This upgraded option allows musicians to fit amplifiers up to 26″W x 26.75″T regardless of which sized cabinet you purchase. It also includes a built-in power supply within the cabinet for quick plug-and-play at any moment.
Guitar Effects Pedal Storage
The newest addition to our lower-compartment options is the guitar effects pedal trays. Each Sound Habitat storage option including the effects pedal trays is handcrafted from locally sourced & sustainable American hardwoods here in Pennsylvania. This option includes three 26″ wide soft-closing trays and a built-in power supply. Soft-Closing Drawers
The final upgraded storage solution offered in the new collection is the soft-closing solid wood drawers matched to your cabinet’s exterior wood selection. This option includes four large drawers perfect for stowing away gear such as guitar straps, strings, slides, additional effects pedals, microphones, and other gear, making it the ideal solution for the multi-instrumentalist or serious gear collector.

Guitar Habitat: Refined Humidified Guitar Display & Preservation
The Guitar Habitat is our first design that pioneered humidified instrument display furniture more than a decade ago. With our new collection updates, we’ve refined and improved the aesthetics and functionality of these handcrafted guitar humidors to achieve a more modern look while maintaining heirloom quality and humidification.
Humidified Guitar Display Features & Upgrades
- Each Guitar Habitat is handcrafted with select American hardwoods locally sourced here in Pennsylvania
- Standard features include a one-gallon active humidification system, dimmable LED lighting, premium tempered glass, cork-lined neck rest + rails for safe preservation, and locking doors.
Music Room Design Improvements
The new Guitar Habitat includes a beautiful elevated hardwood base and flat top design. Together these subtle changes evoke a more modern design aesthetic, allowing it to integrate into any living space or music room. Furthermore, its modular design allows users to easily remove the Habitat’s base and add a Sound Habitat storage cabinet below as their home and gear collection evolves. When paired together, these music-inspired designs result in an uncompromising example of form and function for those who want to keep music close at hand.
Guitar Estate: Music Room Versatility
The Guitar Estate combines all of the features, available options, and modern design updates of the Guitar and Sound Habitats. As mentioned previously, the Estate’s lower portion now comes standard with pocket doors, a removable base, and additional storage options below. The new collection also marks the return of our popular Neck-Tie Neck Rest for additional security when displaying your guitars.
The new collection also includes a subtle yet convenient design update that provides easier access to the humidifier’s reservoir tank. By doing so, the user no longer has to remove all of their instruments from the cabinet to remove the reservoir tank. This small, yet thoughtful design has also allowed us to reduce the cost of our dehumidification system add-on, which has become more popular as relative humidity trends higher across the country.
Last but not least, we’ve chosen three well-balanced sizes for the new Habitat collection. By modestly increasing the dimensions of each size, each size produces an unparalleled display that allows for more guitars in our smaller sizes:
