Frequently Asked Questions

How will I be billed for my Guitar Estate?

A 60% deposit is required at checkout for Guitar Estates, Habitats, and Sound Habitats, with the remaining balance due prior to shipment — the remaining 40% plus shipping costs.

How does white-glove delivery work for a piece this large?

The Guitar Estate is delivered in two pieces: the upper display section and the lower storage section, and is assembled on-site by our delivery team as part of white-glove service. They'll bring both pieces into your home, place and assemble them in your desired location, and remove all packing materials, so there's nothing left for you to do.

Is the humidification system loud enough to be a problem in a recording studio?

No. It's designed to run at approximately the noise level of a laptop cooling fan, quiet enough for professional recording environments, removing the possibility of mic bleed.

What size amplifier fits in the amp tray?

See the Interior Compartments above tab for exact dimensions — the amp tray is sized to fit popular combo amps.

Can I get custom pedalboards built to fit the pedal trays?

Yes. AMF's custom shop can handcraft solid wood pedalboards that are an exact fit for the effects pedal tray option.

Can I add gear storage later instead of buying the full Estate now?

Yes. The Modular Habitat Collection lets you start with the Guitar Habitat, or the standalone Sound Habitat, and add the other piece later.

What humidity level does the Estate's upper section maintain?

The same active system as the Guitar Habitat: 45% RH target, 40–60% RH safe range, refilled roughly every 4–6 weeks.

What's the difference between the Guitar Habitat and Guitar Estate?

The Habitat is guitar display cabinet only. The Estate adds a lower storage section below — configured with an amp tray, pedal trays, drawers, or a shelf, creating a music room or studio centerpiece.

Does the storage configuration differ by size?

Yes. The Small Estate has one door and one fully configurable compartment. The Medium has two doors: one configurable compartment the same size as the Small's, plus a fixed solid wood shelf that fills the extra width. The Large has two fully configurable compartments, allowing two choices of storage.
